The depth continued on the second day of The Abyss, a $360 buy in, $250,000 Guarantee No Limit Hold’em Event featuring the deepest stacks ever assembled. With 54 players headed to day 2 so far, the tournament still has an average chip stack of over 300 big blinds. Joe Gilbert bagged the biggest stack of the day with 141,800. Gilbert was the beneficiary of a late night pot when his KK got it all in against a short stack AA and another player with AK. The K on the flop eliminated 2 players, and also won Gilbert $360 for bagging the chip lead for the day.
