The chipstacks were almost even when Cord Garcia and Dylan Linde set up for the heads-up match in LAPC Event 59 - the $2,140 NLH. The players agreed to alter the payout structure and go to flips for the title.
Cord took the first hand for a massive lead. Dylan took hand No. 2, setting up No. 3 where Dylan has Eights agains a 6-4 for Cord.
6 in the window, followed by another. To top it off, a river 4 and Cord goes Boat Don’t Lie to close out the tournament.
From what I heard, both wanted that Remington, but this one goes in Cord’s trophy case. Both now head off to enter the $5,250 8-max that’s up to 77 entries in Level 6.
Here’s the final results.
