Matt Grapenthien was able to battle back in this three handed battle, taking some chips from Michael Lemkin that made Lemkin the short stack. He would get his final chips in on sixth street in seven card stud 8 against chip leader Michael Itaev. Itaev would make a pair of fives on seventh, and Lemkin had a world of outs: any pair or spade to take the high, and a number of low cards to at least chop the pot. However, he got the [Jc] on seventh, which didn't help him out at all.
This leaves Itaev and Matt Grapenthien heads up. The two are currently discussing a chop.
