We are three weeks into the 2018 LAPC, and Peter Neff is batting an average of one Remington trophy a week. After taking down the $350 Pot-Limit Omaha, and the $350 HORSE Event, Peter Neff has just taken down the $1,100 Heads Up Event for $23,000. On the final hand of the tournament, Neff raised to 800, only to see Jamie Lewin move all in for his final 8,000. Neff thought about it for a bit before calling.
Lewin was in great shape to double back into the lead, but it only seemed fitting that the flop of [As][6c][2c] shot Neff into the lead. Lewin wasn't able to catch up, and Neff took down the hand, completing a perfect 6-0 day for him.
Neff is truly on a tear at this LAPC, now possessing a stranglehold on the overall Player of the Series race. Be sure to come back tomorrow to catch our interview with Neff after his victory, and stay tuned to find out which event Neff will be winning next week!
