Event 16 needed exactly 200 players in order for the Guarantee to be met, and that's exactly what they got. 25 players will return tomorrow to try and take down the top prize. Here's a list of the remaining 25 player's chip counts, and the payouts they will be receiving for tomorrow's accomplishments.
71 players came out for Event 8 $350 8 handed No Limit. The final 3 players ended up making a deal based on chip counts, and it was Dale Menghe who had the lead, and took the win. A full list of all of the results can be found by clicking here.
Lots of familiar faces in the ballroom today as a crowd favorite gets underway. The $350 Triple Stack features a 30,000 starting stack and a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool, and players in the LA area love those things. With 313 entries so far at the midpoint of registration, it appears as though we'll soar over the guarantee. Another great event starts tonight at 5pm, with a $120 buy in and $25,000 guarantee.
The starting field of 397 players has been taken down to the final 9. All 9 players will return at 1pm and play to a winner. These 9 also have the distinction of being the first 9 players to sign up for the first event of this year's LAPC, which is a $350 buy in $1 million guarantee No Limit Hold'em tournament. Here's a list of the 9 players.

The new room looks much better when it's full of players. Nearly 400 are playing in Event 1 $175 No Limit Hold'em $50,000 Guarantee, and the first of many satellites has just gotten cards in the air. Every night at 8pm there is a 3 seat guarantee Mega Satellite, and tonights kicks off with only 5 players. Definite value there as players try to win their way into the $500k Guarantee Main Event.
