Some Chip Counts From the Time's Up Event

We are more than halfway through the 8 Hours and Time's Up Bounty Event, and here are a few familiar faces with chips.

Bubble Time in the PLO8 Event

We are down to just 14 players in the Pot-Limit Omaha 8-or-Better Event, which means we are just one elimination from the money. Some of the players have been talking about paying the bubble, but the decision hasn't been approved by all. We will be playing down to the final eight tonight, and they will come back tomorrow at 2 PM to battle it out for first!

By the Numbers: $175 8 Hours and Time's Up Bounty

Tonight's Time's Up Bounty event drew a total of 220 players, making for a prizepool of $33,000. The final two tables will be in the money tonight, locking up $500, along with however many $50 bounties they claim along the way. The player who has the chip lead when time is up will take home $8,565, and the Remington trophy.  Good luck players!

What's Coming Up: Start of the $300,000 Guaranteed Event

Tomorrow we are kicking off our next multiple day 1 big guaranteed event, the $300,000 Guaranteed Event. This tournament has a buy-in of $350, and there will be six starting flight spread out from Wednesday to Saturday. For each flight, the top 8% will be making the finals, which will be played out on Sunday. This is the 5 PM event tomorrow.

At 1 PM, we have a $350 buy-in Limit Hold'em Event. Registration for that tournament will be open until 5:30 PM, and it is a two day event, with the finals on Thursday at 2 PM.

Over 150 Players so far in the Time's Up Event

Tonight's Time's Up Bounty event has draw 165 players with about 45 minutes left in registration, closing at 7:15 PM. Remember that once we have hit the 8 hour mark, the tournament will be over, and the chip leader at that time will be declared the winner, taking home the Remington trophy!

Today's PLO8 event drew a total of 103 players, creating a prizepool of $30,900. The final 13 players will finish in the money tonight, with a min cash earning $770. First place will earn a five figure payday, $10,005, as well as a Remington Trophy, and some big points in the Player of the Series race. The first Time's Up Event of the 2017 LAPC has just kicked off here in the tournament room! Players will be starting with 25,000 in chips, and registration will be open until 7:15 PM. This tournament has a fun wrinkle to it, as all eliminations will be rewarded with $50 bounties.

The First Time's Up Event of the Series Starts in an Hour

The title says it all here! We are bringing back the popular Time's Up Event this series, with a small twist on this one. There will be $50 bounties in play tonight!

In case you don't know, here's how the Time's Up Event works. We will be playing eight hours tonight, with levels getting longer as the tournament proceeds. After the 20th level, the tournament will end. Whoever is the chip leader at the time will be the champion. The second biggest stack will finish second, and so on and so on. The bounties should add a fun element to it, so be sure to come join us!

Updated Player of the Series Standings

After 12 events in the LAPC, Jeffery Peterson, who took down the opening event of the series, and Albert Shim, who has one win and one second under his belt, shares the lead with 71 points. Former WPT Champion Harry Arutyunyan is third on the list, with Davin Anderson and Dan Heimiller rounding out the top five. Remember that the top 100 players at the end of the series will play in a freeroll where the top three players will be earning a free $10,000 Main Event seat.
